The sensor is located in a block of individual residential construction, at a distance of 1,250 m from the seashore, at a height of 2 m above the ground surface. The height of the place above sea level is 10 m.

In the winter of 2024-2025, the sensor was not protected from direct sunlight, so daytime temperatures are too high. The most significant frost was from February 2 to March 2. The absolute minimum of -10.3 °C was on February 21 at 3:00.
